Elmwood community Centre - Public Investigation - Saturday 7th September.
Clare, Abbey and Mark
We began the night with a welcome talk and the white light protection and headed over to start the night over the other side of the building in the toilet area.
Toilets - Mel meter, PSB11, senses
We all settled and soon felt the presence of a spirit who was possibly a woman. We had activity on the REM on the Mel meter and a few taps along with the cat ball going off. We used the PSB11 and had a few words come through that we were unable to fully make out.
A guest heard on 3 occasions the voice of a lady and went into the hall each time to decipher who this could be. As we chatted amongst ourselves we all heard the loudest moan that was not made by any of us. We all quickly moved into the hall to see who this lady was that was trying to communicate with us.
Hall - senses
We all settled in the hall and it wasn’t long before everyone begun to experience shadows moving around and people being touched. Once again we all heard the moaning of a lady so we tried to work out who this lady was that was desperate to come forward.
With a few taps, moans and shadows, one guest begun to feel quite effected and saw a flash of light in the middle of the room. We placed him on a chair where the flash was and he soon got the name John come through. Another guests picked up the name Jack.
This to me was amazing as there is a connection with a Jack John that the guests wouldn’t have known about.
Mark begun some transfiguration to see if this spirit would come forward.
We all sat shadows next to mark, along with 3 spirits possibly coming forward. We asked the spirit if he was called Jack and he confirmed. The name William and Alfred were also picked up.
After the transfiguration mark said he felt this was an older gentleman so Clare said that can’t be the Jack she was thinking of. Mark followed with no, the Jack you are thinking of is in his early 20’s when he passed and he’s stood right next to you now…. This information was very accurate to the truth and again not information that mark would have known.
The hall was not a disappointment as child spirits and gentlemen spirits were seen and picked up on.
We decided to head for a break to recharge our batteries.
Experience Rooms - Senses, night vision goggles, PSB11
After a break we headed up to our Experience rooms for a small investigation. Shadows were seen by everyone in the dining room along with spots being caught on the night vision goggles. We used the PSB11 to see if we could work out who we were dealing with but all we got was a lot of curse words through along with spirit making it clear he doesn’t like Clare or Rob! The name Sally was also picked up in here.
Creepy Corridor - Dowsing Rods
Abbey had taken a small group into the corridor where they were getting responses to the questions we were asking while in the Experience Rooms. They had connected to a spirit named Harold, who didn’t like Clare or Rob. He was married but had no children.
Clare asked a range of questions to Harold that only she knew and the responses were amazing
Harold confirmed his son was Alfred, he was early 20s when he passed in a plane accident. He confirmed his granddaughter was called Clare too.
This was mind blowing the fact that no guest would have known the info regarding this.
Conference Room - Music box, Cat Balls, Dowsing Rods
We settled in the conference room and wasn’t long before we heard footsteps followed by a chair literally falling to the floor which just amazed us all. The music box went off a couple of times and a young boy with curly hair was picked up. Clare showed a guest a picture of one of the old home owners when he was a young boy, with curly hair. The guest said that was the one.
A range of questions were asked with only Clare knowing the answer
His name was Gilbert, his parents were Henry and Eliza who both died in the house. He is happy and helping the work that Clare and Chris are doing and is supporting this. He died in a car accident and he never married. Very soon the lady using the rods said that it felt it had changed to a lady.
We found out the lady was called Alice who was the first home owner. She passed away at 32 (but this info is actually 33) she passed away in the house. She was married to Lewis and was aware that Chris and Clare recently visited the grave.
Again another energy came through and it was Harold back. He took a shine to a guest and said he liked her. He continued to inform us that he didn’t like Clare and Rob. Clare apparently reminds him of his wife. He sadly never forgave his wife after she ‘permanently removed’ the love affair between Harold and their maid. Harold confirmed his sense of humour is jokey and he loves a good laugh. Just as we know Harold!! He seemed to think that Clare is his wife and that is why he doesn’t like her but also doesn’t like Clare or Rob because we are always asking him questions as he’s a private man.
Loud banging was heard along with the sound of a creaky door being opened or shut…. So we heard back into the hall.

Back in the hall we were still getting Shadows and the feeling of being watched. One lady begun to cough which lasted a good 10 mins (relative to this area of previous investigations).
A school, certain illness ailments and a hospital was also picked up. Shadows that blacked out guests or changed their look/posture was as ever incredible for all to witness.
The night flew by and was close to 4am and we decided to call it a night.
An absolutely amazing night with fantastic guests. All ‘old school’ with using only senses through the whole night which led to incredible evidence that could all be confirmed. Thank you so much to everyone for such amazing energy throughout the night. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The guests went into the ladies toilets and immediately said the atmosphere felt heavy. Abbey was and some of the guests were opposite the cubicles. Several guests explained they could feel temperature changes and Catherine even said she felt as though something was affecting her right side. 2 guests were drawn to the end cubicle, they asked if there had been another doorway which was situated in the cubicle in question. Shadows were seen near the hand dryer. One guest was becoming overwhelmed with the energy and had to leave the room. Mark conducted a PSB11 session. Words came through but it was difficult to hear.
Hall
Senses
The hall felt much colder than it did before when we walked through it to go to the toilets. Shadows and noises were been experienced quite regularly. After receiving names and a guest feeling affected. Claire suggested he sit on a chair in the middle of the hall. Mark prepared himself for transfiguration. Abbey asked before he started this if someone had died from a stroke as she said she felt the left side of her face droop and her right cheek was tingly. When Mark changed his appearance it was noticed that he had a dark shadow in the middle of his forehead Abbey said she was convinced it was a bullet hole, the guest next to her also felt the same. The amazing thing is when Mark came back he confirmed this. A guest also kept saying she could sense a lady next to Mark, Mark also confirmed that he could sense a lady next to him. After all the incredible experiences it was time for a quick break.

Abbey took a small group of guests into the the doll room. When we went inside the room the atmosphere felt heavy. Everyone settled and began calling out, we were all sensing names. Catherine sensed an old lady, she felt as though it was connected to the chair. We had the names Janet, Jeanette, Mary and Henry. We were not receiving anything and the energy had changed we were in pitch black but we all felt peaceful and calm. We stood between the experience rooms but decided to go downstairs to investigate another area.

One of the guests was drawn to this area. One guest used the dowsing rods and then Abbey and the guests began calling out. We connected with Harold and another spirit. Harold said he was happy to communivate with us. He said he didn't like Clare and Rob but he liked us especially Catherine. He is a dominant spirit who said he looks after the other spirits the only way he knows, this could be misconstrued as not nice. He likes a good joke. Clare joined us and Harold confirmed some information.

Everyone chose a chair to sit on and there was a big bang it was noticed the chair next to Abbey had been pushed over. One of the guests used the dowsing rods we communicated with Harold and Henry. At times Harold was trying to confuse us by giving us false information, however a lot of information was corroborated. The music box went off a couple of times after a question was asked. Harold could identify where Clare mad Rob were standing, he used the dowsing rods and pointed straight at them, he also pointed to a guest that he was drawn to and it was Catherine.

To finish the investigation we returned to the hall. This was a very interesting time. Again shadows and temperature changes occurred. Bangs were heard and unexplained lights and orbs were seen.
What a fantastic night the energy was out of this world, Elmwood has continued to give and conform information already collected. This location is one to not miss, you never know what will happen next time.
