Castle Keep – 15th October 2021
CHRIS:
So as the guest’s had settled in the main hall & began the evening investigating the infamous Castle Keep, Chris had took himself down to the garrison room to participate in a Facebook Live feed…. As he settled himself down & introduced himself & our watchers to the spirits of the building, immediately unexplained things started to happen to Chris….. A guest watching Chris does his Lone had picked up on an unkept bearded guy which Chris immediately asked out for this gentlemen & movement was heard in the room leading off from the stairs… The gentleman on the live had also picked up on the bearded guy being Scottish which again as Chris prompted this from spirit, immediately shuffling, footsteps & even his torch being affected by spirit on demand…. An executioner from the garrison room was then picked up on aswell as clare who was at home picking up on the name Bernard or bernadette and again responses on Chris calling out to this but couldn’t be sure if this was the Scottish unkept gentleman, the executioner or another spirit roaming the keep… The responses that Chris was getting in front of our keen watchers on our live was unbelievable & many other followers were seeing movement from underneath a door which was on the other side of the room but this was later debunked as external movement from the bustling city…. Chris also picked on a breeze that kept coming & going just above from his head and maybe linked this to the gentlemen being executed which later once Chris had regrouped was going to be an astonishing link…… Continued movement & Chris’s torch being affected along with an astonishing voice heard physically by Chris which he thought had said ” your on your own down there” as Chris then ended his live & headed up for a break with the group & the rest of the team, this then lead to a discussion with another team member regards what activity they had had, and to Chris astonishment all the group & rest of the team who had been 2 floors above Chris whilst he was doing the Facebook live, the guest’s & team had been getting massive k2 responses, movement, bangs & human pendulum responses to who they thought was a Scottish gentlemen who had been executed by beheading…. This just blew Chris’s mind as he had exactly the same spirit responding during his Lone live & to have collaborating evidence from 2 separate locations in the Keep was some awesome activity that linked spirit to the building…

Garrison Room One guest had heard movement in the corridor by the stairs & Chapel when investigating a noise everyone had heard, both Chris who had went with the guest to check the movement, hadn’t heard this but shook the guest as it was rather close to her….
Room leading off the Garrison room Chris & 2 guest’s picked up on what smelt like a petrol/diesel smell which kept coming & going, along with a smell of burning woody smoke smell… One guest also picked up on a blue light which we attributed to a blue boy as we had picked up on a child around in the Garrison room and immediately there was a massive noise in the Garrison room following us asking out…. Constant movement where heard as the room that we were all in began to become very very dark & a brave guest took themselves down on there own into the room but didn’t last long as again as the other guests asked out, it followed with a loud bang right next to the brave lady on her own which made her hastily retreat back to the comfort of the group….

ALAN:
We started the night in the Great Hall where Catherine delivered the white light protection. This allowed our guests to ground themselves and give their own private requests to spirit as to what they wanted to experience.
We started by calling out and inviting any spirits to come forward. We used a K2 device and asked for spirit to make the lights flash, to let us know they were present. Initially there was a lot of activity but it became apparent that the K2 was picking up on some electrical cables from the floor below, so we moved the device to a chair at the end of the room. When we asked out, there were some good responses and the K2 lights flashed and held for a number of seconds (which was very odd) so we decided then to place another K2 next to the first device – this was to test for any malfunctions. The K2 responses replicated what the other device was doing, which was absolutely brilliant. A guest called Laura felt as if her scarf had been tugged and she got the impression that there was a child spirit near her. At one stage, every person in the room clearly heard a dragging or scraping noise coming from the small room just off the Great Hall. The noise was quite loud and really took everybody by surprise. When we asked spirit to replicate the noise there was no response however the K2 lit up quite brightly and held for a number of seconds.There were a few taps and noises so after a while we decided to ramp things up and conduct a human pendulum. Guests formed a circle and held hands while Alan asked spirit to choose a person to communicate through by moving them back or forwards. This turned out to be Lauren, the lady who had her scarf tugged. The human pendulum proved to be a fantastic way to communicate with spirit as every question asked received a response either yes or no. During this time one of our guests called Angie felt as if she was choking, almost as if she was being strangled. Angie also experienced a feeling of great sadness and felt like the spirit had been wronged. Her friend Catherine picked up on the spirit being Scottish. When we Alan asked questions, we found out that we had a Scottish male who had been a prisoner at the castle. He gave the response that he was guilty of murder and had been executed in Newcastle. A guest asked if they had been executed by having their throat cut and the answer was yes. Another of our guests noticed that the door to the small room just off the Great Hall kept moving – he noticed this multiple times, which was fantastic.
After we had a quick break we split the guests up into groups with Katherine and Mark taking one group to the upper floors and Chris and Alan taking a group downstairs into the Garrison room and chapel. In the garrison room we started asking out for spirit. We had placed a tempos on the stairs leading up to the window, Chris’s torch and a K2 on a table. We experienced some K2 activity and some definite knocks and bangs. There was quite a loud bang on the floor which a number of guests felt through their feet and this got the group buzzing. Lauren also had her leg pushed from behind. A number of guests felt uneasy when looking back up the stairs from the garrison room, so we decided to congregate in the room at the top of the stairs just outside the garrison room. Once we did this, we heard noises from inside the garrison room. One in particular sounded like the wooden stocks had been rattled and the light inside our small room became quite dark which made the majority of guests rather uneasy. We briefly moved inside the chapel but there was no activity to report on. This could have been because we were unable to turn the lights off which meant the mood was quite light.
After the final break, and the night drawing to a close, we decided to take the group to the small room adjacent to the Great Hall where we had earlier had the scraping sound. We took a spirit box and asked questions for spirit to reveal any messages. Spirit came through and told us they had died by poisoning. Strange things then happened as every time we asked a question with the response sounding like an alarm had been triggered. As this continued a few times we decided to move upstairs to the single cell room. We used a K2 and got a good response when asking if there was a spirit there. One of the guests sensed that the spirit was female or possibly was a small child but there was no further activity.
KATHRYN:
we started the evening with chris doing the introduction to the group in the museum room of the castle keep,
the whole group went up into the great hall of the castle where we did the white light protection for the whole group.
we then started calling out to the spirits of the building and we placed a emf meter in the floor and we got spikes straight away but they were holding steady at the orange light and weren’t matching up with the questions that the group was asking . this lead to me crawling in the floor in the middle of the room trying to find the source, in the end we contributed to wires from the lights in the museum room below us.
we got a second emf meter and out then both together on a wooden throne at the end of the room, we continued to call out to the spirits.
one of our guests was picking up on the energy of a scottish person in the room with us but they seemed a little unsure about communicating with us at that time.
another guest was picking up on the energy of a child from one of the rooms at the back of the hall, as she felt like her scarf had been tugged.
another guest felt a tightness in thier throat/ strangled feeling which caused her to cough a lot, but it was taken off her once we asked the spirit to step away.
i placed a coin in the door way off the room to try and bring the spirit out as we had heard what sounded like a stone being thrown at us from that direction.
From the same room some of the other guests said that they thought they saw the door more, which we immediately checked, it was a huge oak door and not something that could be easily moved my a draft or gust of wind.
It was after these occurrences that outlet team member Alan suggested trying a human pendulum in the room, we all joined hands and the spirit picked out our guest Laura to communicate through, interesting this was the same guest who felt her scarf being pulled earlier in the night.
she went into the middle of the circle and Alan lead the questioning as the spirit was responding to him calling out more and more.
We got some information about a man who has been brought to the castle and charged with murder, he was scottish, he was executed for commuting the crime, he died from having his throat cut but was not be headed.
During this time we got some names as well, Alexander/ Alister/ Duncan, we also had massive spikes on the two emf meters which were both still sat on the throne at the end of the hall.
The guest in the middle of the circle, Laura, started to feel sick and dizzy so we brought the experiment to and end so that we could all take a little break before splitting up into smaller groups.
Myself and Mark took 6 guests up into the top level of the gallery.. we set up a rem pod and a spirit box and started calling out to the spirits, the rem pod went off straight away, it was going crazy then when we tried to question the spirit more we got a male voice come through asking us to “go away& leave”.
when i asked if they could set off the rem pod again to show they were still with us and the male voice asked “why?”

After the break we headed down into the Garison room, where we set up the equipment, as it was coming to the end of the night i left Mark calling out while i took the guests two at a time into the chapel so that the guests could see the architecture as it’s beautiful.
We got a had some responces on the rem pod in the Garrison room in responces to calling out and some temperature changes which brought our night to an end.
And at the end of the night we had a group debrief and all guests were happy with the interaction and activity. Thank you to all our guests for helping make the night what it was. We look forward to seeing you all again soon
