Only people over the age of 18 are permitted to attend any of our events. All events ran by Lone Vigils Investigations are strictly over 18. Anyone attempting to gain access to an event who is under the age of 18 will be asked to leave and will not be eligible for a refund. It is advised you bring ID with you, and please don’t be offended if we ask you to produce ID if you are attending our Haunted locations!

Pregnancy
Our events are not suitable for pregnant women. If you discover you are pregnant during the timeframe of your booking and the event, we will where possible transfer your booking to the same event at a later date.

Disabilities
Unfortunately some of our haunted locations may be inaccessible for people with certain disabilities, We also advise that due to some of the equipment used during our events those with photo sensitive epilepsy are not to attend.

Drugs & Alcohol
Absolutely no alcohol or drugs are allowed on the events and anyone who shows up and appears to be under the influence of either of these will be turned away from the event and will not be refunded regardless of any transport difficulty or weather conditions.

Smoking/Vaping
You may smoke/vape outside the venue's premises in the designated smoking area. We do not allow smoking or vaping inside any of our event locations.

Photography & Videography
The use of cameras and filming equipment is allowed on our events, in fact we welcome it! All we request is that you ask the people around you for their permission to be filmed. Any footage you take is for private use and not for public view. During events, we may often be filming and taking photographs for promotional purposes. By booking onto and attending our events you, the customer agrees to the use of this footage for our promotional purposes. Any images or footage that you take on an event will remain the property of Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations and shall NOT be used for any external use.

Weather
In the event of severe weather conditions, Lone Vigils reserve the right to cancel an event.




Behaviour Policy


Lone Vigils Investigations want all of our guests to enjoy our events and to feel safe, one disruptive guest can have an adverse effect on any event. We therefore insist that you read and agree to the terms set out in this policy. There is a strict behavior code on our events which all guests should be made aware of: Any Behaviour that has a detrimental impact on the event / venue / guests / staff will not be tolerated and any behavior deemed inappropriate will be dealt with swiftly and the person or people concerned will automatically be removed from the event regardless of any transport difficulties or any adverse weather conditions. Detrimental behaviour includes threatening / abusive words / behaviour to guests or staff. It is at the discretion of Lone Vigils Investigations staff as to what they deem is threatening / abusive words / behaviour. In extreme circumstances the police may be called. Any destruction towards the venue is strictly prohibited. This includes, but not exhausted of: graffiti, purposely breaking items, knowingly removing / taking items from the venue. Vandalism is a criminal offence and will be taken seriously. 

Due to the lateness of events guests are reminded to leave each venue quickly and quietly, especially events that are in built up residential areas. Any complaints made by residents may prevent Lone Vigils Investigations and other similar companies from holding future events there. We work with spirit therefore we ask that regardless on your belief you show respect. Anyone deemed to be acting in a manor that is not appropriate may be asked to leave. We would be grateful if you could contact us as soon as possible to let us know if you are unable to attend an event, even if it is on the day of event so that we are aware that you will not be arriving. Anyone who breaks any of the above terms may be banned from attending future events with Lone Vigils Investigations.


It is your responsibility that upon booking that all payments made at the time are correct (Deposit, remaining balance or full payment) and that Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations will be asking for any additional fees to be made up to the correct price stated on the website at the time of purchase.
The customer will act in a responsible manner and respect the needs of others. You will not cause harm or injury to anyone else or put yourself or anyone else in danger. You will respect the nature of the event and behave accordingly. When leaving the event you will ensure that due to the lateness of the hour you will respect the needs of nearby residents by leaving quietly and quickly. It is your responsibility at the time of booking to ensure that you are able to make the event date as Lone Vigils Investigations cannot offer a refund or transfer your places if you are unable to attend. Our locations are paid in advance and we are liable for these costs even if you cannot make the event. Deposits are none-refundable and all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Lone Vigils Investigations have the right to re-sell your places. We would be grateful if you could contact us as soon as possible to let us know if you are unable to attend an event, even if it is on the day of event so that we are aware that you will not be arriving. When booking your ghost Hunt with Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations, you will need to do so in full confidence that you can attend the booked date. Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations cannot offer a refund or event transfer to you are no longer able to attend (for any reason) Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations pays for all of its locations in advance of the event taking place & Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations cannot claim any refunds back from a venue should you no longer be able to attend. As stated, All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of reason for not being able to attend. We understand sickness, family issues and travel difficulties can arise along with covid-19 isolation periods but Lone Vigils Paranormal Investigations has to stand by our T&C's policy for all situations that are outside of our own control. This is in order to maintain the successful running of our scheduled events for the benefit of all others. Refunds and transfers affect the commercial viability of the business which could cause the event to cancel if we did not uphold our T&C's policy. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of up to £10 for a change or correction to be made to your booking, this also includes any booking mistakenly made by your party.

Accepting

By accepting and agreeing with these terms and conditions you are further indemnifying the promoters/organisers/individuals from and against all legal liability in respect of any claims, damages, costs, penalties, actions, demands, proceedings, any kind of legal suits, losses or expenses amounted in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or persons, or damage to any property arising from the guests participation and involvement in the event or activity or premises pertaining to the event.
There may be occasions when events are cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of Lone Vigils Investigations. If these events are cancelled, then you will be given a full refund of any money paid for the said event. However, if the event is rescheduled Lone Vigils Investigations may set limitations on any refunds requested. We will endeavor to ensure that every guest is made aware of a cancelled event as soon as possible. However, if this has not been possible, Lone Vigils Investigations will not refund any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of an event, this includes travel and hotel expenses
In the event of severe adverse weather conditions Lone Vigils Investigations reserve the right to cancel an event. As much notice as possible will be given to guests prior to travelling to the event. However, if the weather is such that any member of the Lone Vigils Investigations team is unable to reach the event then Lone Vigils Investigations will deem the event to be inaccessible and therefore cancelled. This may happen as late as guests travelling en route to the event. Lone Vigils Investigations, will, however, endeavour to ensure that this is the last option taken and will always work towards the event going ahead as planned.
Unless stated as a sleep over event, we do not have any sleeping facilities at any of events.
Lone Vigils Investigations are not responsible or liable for any damage to any of your property on the way to the event, during, or after the event. We accept no responsibility for damaged clothing, personal items, equipment, parking tickets or clamping fines.
You attend our events at your own risk- we accept no liability for accidents or injury to yourself.
Lone Vigils Investigations only use experienced, responsible and reputable paranormal investigators, psychics and mediums on our events. However they can only give you their own opinion and point of view and you should consider this when deciphering information. It is up to you to decide what it is you are experiencing.
On every event with Lone Vigils investigations there will be a trained first aider present should any incidents occur. You will be informed of who that first aider is at the beginning of each event.
Due to the nature of our events, we do not leave a venue until at least 2/3am. We advise you to take your journey home and travel plans in to account and advise that if you have a long journey to book a hotel or b&b for the night. It can be very dangerous driving home after a full day and then a ghost hunt.
Lone Vigils Investigations use venues and locations that have demonstrated paranormal activity that has been recorded by us or others. We, unfortunately cannot guarantee paranormal activity on the night. This is the nature of what we do but we would rather this be the case than you thinking it has been fake or hoaxed.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE NON NEGOTIABLE AND UPON BOOKING ON TO YOUR CHOSEN EVENT, YOU ARE ACCEPTING AND AGREEING TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
